What modification is required for the Igloo kit?

The Igloo lid opening needs to be slightly widened to allow the adapter to pass through. Using a knife or small file, carve or file the opening until the male portion of the adapter fits through. This takes about 2 minutes, requires no special tools, and only needs to be done once. It does not affect the seal or integrity of your container.

Does this fit all Igloo water containers?

This kit is designed for Igloo brand water containers. All sizes require the same minor lid modification before installation. Once modified, the adapter fits securely and the kit functions identically to all other Lone Rock kits.

How do I pump water from an Igloo jug at camp?

After the one-time lid modification, attach the Lone Rock patented adapter, connect the USB-C rechargeable pump, and press the button. Water flows cleanly through a 304 stainless steel spout and food-grade silicone hose. Your Igloo container stays exactly where it is.

Is the Lone Rock adapter food safe?

Yes. All of our components including the pump and adapter are BPA free. The adapter is CNC-machined from UHMWPE, an FDA-approved food-grade polyethylene. The hose is food-grade silicone and the spout is 304 stainless steel. Everything that contacts your water meets food safety standards.
