Scepter Overland Water Pump Adapter Kit
- Scepter cans are on the back of half the rigs at any trailhead. What they do not do is pour easily. A full 20L runs about 44 pounds, so getting water out means lifting, tipping, and hoping you do not overshoot the pot. Our patented design lets you turn your Scepter into a pressurized faucet. Press the button and water comes through a stainless nozzle at about an ounce per second, hands free. Fits both the 10L and the 20L Scepter.

Ask us anything →Yes. One adapter covers both sizes. One exception to check before you order: if you have a blue Scepter can with a yellow hose, that style takes our RotopaX adapter instead, not this one.
No. The adapter threads directly onto the Scepter opening by hand. No drilling, no cutting, no tools. Take the cap off, thread the adapter on, drop the hose in.
About 30 gallons of pumping on a full charge, or 30 days sitting on standby. Most people top it off between trips and never think about it on the trail. Full charge takes 3 to 5 hours over USB-C.
Roughly an ounce per second, so a 32 ounce bottle fills in about half a minute. Enough pressure to wash dishes, while conserving your water supply.
Yes. The adapter is made from food-grade, BPA-free UHMWPE. The nozzle is 304 stainless steel, and the pump components are independently lab tested to food-contact standards.
Yes. The pump is the same across our kits. If you run a second container type, you only need the adapter, not another pump. See our adapter only listings.
