Reliance Aqua-Tainer Overland Water Pump Adapter Kit
- The Aqua-Tainer is the container most people start with. It is cheap, it holds seven gallons, and it turns up at every campsite and tailgate in the country. The stock spigot is also the first thing anyone complains about. It drips, it runs slow, and filling a pot means propping the whole thing on a table edge and waiting. Install our patented adapter and pump system in place of the spigot and the Aqua-Tainer becomes a pressurized faucet. Press the button and water comes through a stainless nozzle at about an ounce per second, hands free, with the jug flat on the ground or still in the trunk. Whether you are car camping for a weekend or running a full overland setup, it is the same press of a button. This one is not limited to the Aqua-Tainer. It threads into any container with a 3/4 inch female NPT opening, which covers the 4 and 7 gallon Aqua-Tainer, the 4 and 7 gallon Jumbo-Tainer, WaterBrick containers, and anything up to a 55 gallon barrel drum.

Ask us anything →The adapter threads in where the white stock spigot comes out. It fits the 4 and 7 gallon Aqua-Tainer and the 4 and 7 gallon Jumbo-Tainer. Because the opening is a standard 3/4 inch female NPT thread, it also fits WaterBrick containers and anything else with that thread, including a 55 gallon barrel drum. This kit does not fit Reliance Rhino-Pak or Desert Patrol, that style takes our Rhino-Pak adapter.
No. Remove the white stock spigot and thread the adapter in by hand in its place. No drilling, no cutting, no tools.
About 30 gallons of pumping on a full charge, or 30 days sitting on standby. Most people top it off between trips and never think about it on the trail. Full charge takes 3 to 5 hours over USB-C.
